sumtimes i feel like i act like KanYe with his temper tantrums and outrageous outburst. but fuck it, as humans, we have a right to show and express emotion. thats why God let us feel those feelings. so lets talk about this little/ big thing called "Support".
we all have it, we all had it, we all want it.
im going to be speaking from a musical sense with moral standards to back me up.
i feel like i help support some of you lame ass rappers, wanna be rappers, and even you somewhat 'decent' artist. i feel like i give them chance after chance and come up short on the majority of the ppl i've come in contact with. backing that up with morals, help & suppport the up and coming artist because at one point in time you were in his/ her position. give them the benifit of the doubt and lend a helping hand.
seriously, i've worked with sum suck ass rappers, done songs with em, made beats for em, etc... but by me making their beats and writing songs with them, that technically counts as supporting them because im cotributing to their prime objective/ cause or w/e.
you think you really know ppl 'till it's time to do business and they have this whole new state of mind with a complete different set of ideas. i hate how everyone wants me to support them, but when i ask you for sum feedback or to do a fuckin feature, i get excuse after excuse. Prime example, i have a (brother) who is in a rap group. theyre pretty good. i get msgs constantly to come to their shows and download their singles and join their groups, follow them on their blogs n shit.... w/e. but as soon as i ask for a feature (a hook/ 16 bars, shit like that) they never come thru. none of em. i cant get em to return a phone call.
(my moral in that) i'd love to come see them at their shows but i'll be damned if i go to their show if they cant hold me down on a feature or download my single. you got me fucked up! people will support what they feel is most important to them or what they invest the majority of their feelings in. why do you think the villian always go for the super hero's girl?
now if i do so much for you wanna bees, lame rappers, and somewhat 'decent' artist, why is it that i dont get the same support that i gave you? why is it that i made your beat that you rappin over for your mixtape but i cant get you to drop a verse? oh i get it, i saw this in a movie one time. support can be lost at the blink of an eye or gained overnight by stardom.
you DMV nigguhs get shady on a brotha sumtimes. "despite your evil ways i still love you." didnt God say something like that?... but thats why nobody in this rap shit respect us/ support us/ love us. 'cuz we dont support each other. our word is no good to our brother next door, so what makes you think Cali is gonna love us? New York? Georgia? Texas? all of the rappers in those states support each other. WTF IS WRONG WIT THE DMV? there's too many of us to not be signed right now!

wtf is up wit all this "inner circle shit". you nigguhs actin like its fuckin high school all over again! fuckin cheer leader cliks n shit! you cant see one rapper without the other. they dick ridin each other. excuse my expressions, but how can you justify not helping out a fellow emcee, washingtonian, musical artist, producer because you feel that it's beneath you to work with a not so..."established artist"? you BIG EGO nigguhs need sum fuckin humility in ya life.
